When it comes to simple festive recipes, easy Christmas cookies are a great place to start. Simply decorate chocolate chip or raisin cookies, whichever you prefer, with your favourite festive scene – from simple stars to detailed Christmas trees, the possibilities are endless. Stock up on coloured icing, cake decorations and more to let your creativity run wild! The best thing about these Christmas treats is that they don’t all need to look the same – there’s nothing stopping you from creating as many different easy Christmas cookie designs as you want.

2. Christmas Hot Chocolate

Keep yourself cosy on the coldest days this winter with help from a warming Christmas hot chocolate. Make a normal hot chocolate, and spice it up with a notch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. To make this tasty festive snack recipe, first make small Rice Krispie cakes in the shape of a ball, and set them aside to cool. Once cooled, spread over some white icing. Using red and green food colouring, you can then design some sprigs of holly for your cakes. Christmas pudding Rice Krispie cakes are a great alternative for anybody who’s not so keen on the traditional Christmas pudding but wanting to feel just as festive.
