Fuel, popcorn and ticket prices, a night at the cinema can really add up. So, sit in and take advantage of the movie options from home. With Netflix, movies on Freeview and using free streaming services like All4 and BBC iPlayer you will surely find something you enjoy. Also don’t forget to pick up all your movie snacks at your local SPAR!
Games night is an easy, stress-free night which can be done with the kids or friends. With a simple deck of cards, you can play games like snap, old maid, jack changes it and go fish. Or play family fun games like Monopoly, Top trumps, and Uno, which will guarantee an enjoyable night in.
After a busy week at work, Friday night is a good time to take some time off and rejuvenate your body and mind. There are so many ways this can be done in a budget friendly way! Simply run a bubble bath, put on a face mask or even find a quiet corner in the house and read a book.
Going out for drinks can be expensive and sometimes isn’t worth the hassle or the hangover. So, a great alternative is making your own non-alcoholic mocktails which are just as refreshing and can be a great activity to do with the kids or friends. Just remember you can pick up all your mocktail ingredients from your local SPAR.
