A light Summer dessert!
A simple yet delicious way to enjoy Royal Gala apples, this recipe is perfect for a light summer dessert or a sweet breakfast topping. Serve with yogurt, ice cream, or granola for an extra treat!

What you'll need:
- 4 Royal Gala apples, cored and sliced
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (to keep apples fresh and bright)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- A handful of chopped walnuts or almonds (optional)
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Prepare the apples – Core and slice the apples into wedges. Toss them in a bowl with lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Bake – Place the apples in a baking dish, drizzle with melted butter, and sprinkle with nuts if using.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until soft and caramelized.
- Serve warm with yogurt, ice cream, or on top of porridge for a delicious twist.
