Prawn cocktail boats
A tasty Christmas starter
Made with Hellmann's Mayo!
What you'll need:
For the Marie rose sauce:
- 200ml Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
To serve:
- 3 Little Gem lettuces, leaves separated
- 300g cooked and peeled prawns
- ½ bunch chives , chopped
- Handful of pomegranate seeds
- Lemon wedges, to serve
Method:
- Mix together all the ingredients for the Marie Rose sauce and set aside in the fridge. This can be chilled for up to 24 hrs.
- Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate and add a couple of prawns into each leaf.
- Spoon over some Marie Rose sauce, and scatter over a few chives and pomegranate seeds.
- To serve, squeeze over a little lemon juice.
