Sizzling Steak Quesadilla

Tender sirloin steak, mixed peppers, and onions are cooked to perfection and layered with melted cheese in a crispy tortilla. Seasoned with optional chili powder for a kick, this savoury quesadilla is a quick and satisfying meal.

What you'll need:

  • SPAR enjoy local Sirloin Steak
  • The Greengrocer’s Mixed Peppers
  • The Greengrocer’s Onions
  • Coleraine Grated Cheese
  • Chilli powder (optional)

Method:

  1. Thinly slice the peppers and onions
  2. Season the steak and cook to your liking. Let the steak rest before slicing thinly.
  3. Add the peppers and onions to the pan and fry. Season with salt and pepper and add some chilli powder
  4. Add the sliced steak to the cooked peppers and onions.
  5. Place a tortilla wrap in the pan, add cheese to half the wrap and add the steak, pepper and onion mix and top with more cheese.
  6. Fold the tortilla wrap over onto the steak mixture and cook for 3 -4 minutes, flip the tortilla wrap and cook for a further 3-4mins.
  7. Cut the wrap in half and serve.
